Abstract
The existence of a robust and stable financial system has become one of the most important conditions for economic growth and development in recent years. Hence, nowadays providing and maintaining financial stabiliy has been discussed intensively. In this study, after explaining the concept of financial stability and the relationship between financial stability and monetary policy, the effects of Turkish monetary policy on financial stability are evaluated for the post 2001 economic crisis period.
