Abstract :
This study is subject to the thermal seasons of Turkey in terms of temperature in the alluvial plains and morphological basins. For this purpose, decade average temperatures were taken by the long years of 246 meteorological station average daily temperature values, and according to average decade temperature value of 36 which were obtained. Temperature values of stations, using digital elevation model, and it spread all around Turkey; depending on the temperature models were produced. These models are over the plains and basins, and these averages are calculated based on the average temperature by decade certain threshold determined by the values in the seasonal characteristics. Accordingly, the alluvial plains and morphological basins in Turkey in terms of temperature 36 decade organized according to the seasons. Accordingly, cold season in Turkey, hottest plain is Eşen Valley when the coldest plain is Eleşkirt Plain. In hot season, hottest plain is Kızıltepe when coldest plain is Göle. The study, especially in agricultural planning is intended to constitute all the spatial planning stages we entered.
