Institutional and relational economic geography approaches and their operationalization

The fact that the scientist has a strong theoretical background in scientific research is very important for understanding the events and phenomena and for developing the prediction. However, the issue of how to operationalize this background to research can become problematic, especially for studies to be carried out with qualitative research design. The individual experience of graduate courses, as well as the observations on the students of the graduate students, are based on the development of such a judgement and the motivation of this research. With this motivation, this research aims not only to introduce the contents of the institutional and relational economic geographical approaches which are increasingly used in economic geography literature in recent years, but also to show how the theoretical frameworks can be operationalised in the researches to be done.
