Synthesis, Characterization of Azetidine Derivative and Studying the Antioxidant Activity

In this study, a derivative of azetidine was obtained by refluxing Schiff-base with an aromatic aldehyde. Schiff-base was prepared by reaction of hydrazine hydrate with chloroacetylchloride without heating. FT-IR and 1HNMR proved all prepared compounds and chemical structures. The final compound (d), the target of this work, was screened for antioxidant activity and exhibited good results.
