Abstract :
Chlorella ferredoxin is thermostable for several hours at 50 °C. However, in the presence of 9,10-phenanthrorine or 2,2ʹbipyridine, the oxidized [2Fe-2S] cluster of ferredoxin undergoes spontaneous reduction to the reduced state without adding other reducing agents
