Abstract :
The reduction of Ni (OH) 2 to ultrafine Ni metal powder under hydrothermal condition with ethylene glycol was investigated. The reduction proceeded gentlly at about 160 °C and did not pollute the environment. The particle size obtained was about 10 nm.
