Abstract :
The aim of this study, investigate the role of social exclusion and life satisfaction on the quality of life. For this aim, 864 voluntary participants answered a questionnaire with the World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment (WHOQOL), Satisfaction With Life Scale, Social Exclusion Scale, and socio-demographic questions. Logistic regression analysis method was applied in this study. According to the logistic regression results, women have a higher quality of life than men and those with high economic levels have a higher quality of life than those with low economic levels. The life satisfaction variable was found to be a significant variable and it was concluded that individuals with high life satisfaction had a higher quality of life. The social exclusion was evaluated with all its sub-dimensions and it was concluded that it explained the quality of life with its two dimensions. Accordingly these sub-dimensions, it was concluded that those who do not have a suitable house and secure environment conditions have a lower quality of life and those who have high social participation have a high quality of life. Ampric results showed that life satisfaction, economic status, and some sub-dimensions of social exclusion playing an important role in explaining the quality of life.
