FREELY DISPOSABLE PROPERTY OF CHILD

Child has separate and independent property from his/her parent. Child s property cover all rights with monetary value. As a rule, parents have the right to manage and use on child’s property. İt is called freely disposable property that are exempted from parent s management and/or use rights.Freely disposable properties are organized in four categories in Turkish Civil Code. These are Endowments, Compulsory Share, Professional and Business Assets and Employment İncome. Child’s property that is excluded from parent s management may be in child’s or third person’s management. Child is entitled to a full legal transaction ability, limited to property with the right to manage. If child or third person is insufficient in management of the property, judge will take necessary measures.
