Abstract :
Education is one of the most important issues in the field of occupational health and safety. Because the awareness of occupational health and safety occurs only with the training related to it. In this study, article 17 of Occupational Health and Safety Code and The Regulation on the Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and the Principles of the employees were examined. Occupational Health and safety is an obligation for both employer and employee. In the trainings, it is necessary to program according to the type of work, to provide place, tools and equipment. The employer has a high liability for training. The employer is obliged both to provide training and to control to participation of workers in training and the effectiveness of training. As a result of occupational health and safety training, it is aimed to create occupational safety awareness and prevent occupational accidents.
