Abstract :
Dialkyl dithiophosphate-capped lyophobic copper nanoclusters of a mean size of 4.0 (plus-minus) 1.1 nm were synthesized by a novel method. The method was characterized by the generation of small copper clusters through aqueous reduction and the extraction of the clusters into organic solvent using dialkyldithiophosphate.
