Abstract :
In this paper, we prove that a weakly demicompact linear operator with respect to an unbounded operator S0 can be characterized by measures of weak noncompactness. Moreover, its relationshipwith semi-Fredholm operators aswell as the characterization of its S0-essential spectrum is studied.
