Abstract :
Hu, Zhang and Zhou introduced and studied the notion of proper classes in extriangulated categories and the notion of n-proper classes in n-exangulated categories. As a special case, we obtain the definition of n-proper classes in (n + 2)-angulated categories. Inspired by the work of Beligiannis (J Algebra 227(1): 268–361, 2000), we introduce the notion of ξ-phantom maps in (n+2)-angulated categories.We prove that the family of n-proper classes of (n+2)-angles in the (n+2)-angulated category (C, Σ , Ω) forms a complete lattice under the partial order of inclusion.We also prove that there exists a lattice isomorphism between n-proper classes of (n+2)-angles and special ideals of (C, Σ ,Ω ).
