Abstract
Representation theory of finite groups has many important applications in the theory of abstract groups. This theory was invented by George Frobenius more than 100 years ago and continued by William Burnside, Isaai Schur and Richard Brauer Our aim in this paper is to introduce the fundamental concepts of this theory and then outline particular research on various topics of the subject.
