Abstract
We have developed a simple method for the regioselective aromatization of Polysubstituted Cyclohexanone derivatives in the presence of iodine (25 mol %), Pd/C (10Mol%) in dimethyl sulfoxide at 90°C. , afforded functionalized biphenyls with at least one phenolic hydroxyl in moderate to very good yields.
