Abstract :
Glycosylation using the trichloroacetimidate method was investigated in order to synthetize chacotriose. In a continuation of previous studies we present here a shorter approach to the synthesis of chacotriose, (alpha)-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1(right arrow)2)-[(alpha)-Lrhamnopyranosyl-(1(right arrow)4)]-D-glucopyranose.
