Abstract :
[1.1]Silaferrocenophane 4, which contains pentacoordinate silicon moieties, was synthesized by the dimerization of 3 for the first time. The identity of 4 was established by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and X-ray crystallography.
