Abstract
We report a post-synthesis procedure-ammonia hydrothermal treatment- to improve the structural features of surfactanttemplated mesoporous silica synthesized from acidic route. The mesoporous products after this treatment become highly ordered and hydrothermally stable and the original hierarchical morphology are preserved.
