Computational Studies on the Reactions of N2O with O(3P) and CO

We performed ab initio molecular orbital calculations to derive rate expressions for the reactions of N2O with O(3P) and CO. Major products of the O(3P) + N2O reactions are predicted to be NO + NO. Comparisons of calculated and experimental rate constants indicate good agreement exists with the most recent experimental values.
