Abstract
The Ag/PMMA shell/core nanocomposites were fabricated by one-pot emulsification method. AgNO3 are both silver source and initiator for polymerization of MMA. The polymerization took place when the Ag+ was reduced to Ag. The microstructures of the nanocomposites were characterized by TEM, XRD, FTIR, and AFM.
