Applications of magnetic field management in teaching electromagnetics

Student projects based upon the application of quasi-static electromagnetic principles to analysis and design of magnetic field management systems are described. One specific example is described in some detail—the example involves mapping of magnetic field structure due to a real configuration of transformer source conductors and comparison of calculated with measured results.
