Abstract :
A computer model is developed which dynamically
sim~tlatet~he risk of jlashover oj contaminated insulators
under real time change of the climatic environmental factors
From data oj accumulation of contaminant, cleaning by ruin,
wetting by moiJture, risk of jhhover of a ceramic insulator is
calculated which then gives the resultant risk ojjlashover of a
system where several hundred number of ceramic insulators
connected in parallel are Jubjected to the Jame degree of contamination
Jeverity and wetting
