Abstract :
A new fully digital loose part monitoring system is presented.
which is in operation at a VVER-440 Unit. The system uses generally new
principles (autoregressive modelling and sequential probability ratio testing) for
the identification of events. The expert part uses the closest neighbour method
to classify the events
