The photon attenuation coefficients of barite, marble and limra

The linear attenuation coefficients μ (cm−1) and total mass attenuation coefficients (cm2 g−1) of γ-rays for barite, marble and limra have been calculated using the XCOM program (Version 3.1) at energies from 1 keV to 300 MeV. The calculated results were compared with the estimation coefficients based on the measured total linear attenuation coefficients (μ).
