Abstract :
Design and manufacture of a functional composite spring for a solar powered light vehicle is described. The objective is to provide an understanding of the manufacture, use. and capabilities of composite leaf springs produced by using unidirectional Eglass roving impregnated by an epoxy resin for light vehicle applications where the vehicle weight is of primary concern.
