Some problems of water leaks in bathrooms of the University staff flats in Riyadh

The environment in Saudi Arabia is hostile to buildings, because of the high concentration of salts—especially chlorides and sulphates—present in the soil and water. This might be responsible for corrosion of pipes embedded within the fabric or under the structure of buildings. Such a problem is investigated in bathrooms of the University staff flats in Riyadh, including its causes and possible remedies.
