Abstract
In designing, planning and constructing a number of buildings there is a great probability of differential mistakes. Mistakes in designing a house (i.e. functional) in one project, or faults in a house elevation (i.e. aesthetical) are not disastrous mistakes. But construction and execution mistakes are by all means economical destruction, especially when they are of the same nature and are repeated in great numbers. This paper presents the tradition and climate as the neglected concepts in the field of architecture that the authors suggest them as the main reasons for either the success or the failure of any project. The study explains how the two concepts affected architecture in Kuwait in the past, and how their abandonment in the present develops problems in this field.
