Analysis of the impact of dynamic events on future power requirements

In this paper, a model has been developed for analysing and forecasting the summer peak loads of a power system operating under conditions of high growth. The model simulates the influence of static and dynamic parameters on the load growth and load pattern. Forecasts produced by the model are compared with those obtained from established time-series methods.
