Coefficient of performance for an irreversible combined refrigeration cycle

The effects of thermal resistances and internal irreversibilities on the performance of a combined (cascade) refrigerator are investigated. An improved equation is obtained for the coefficient of performance (COP) of an irreversible, combined refrigerator.
