Abstract :
A virial equation of state is preseInted lbr wLpor-phase pentalluoro-dimethyl
ether [CF~-O-CF,HI, a candidate alternative refrigerant known as E]25. The
equation of slate was determined from density measurements performed with a
Burnett apparatus and from speed-of-sound measurements performed with an
acoustical resonator. The speed-of sound measurements spanned the ranges
260~T~<400K and 0.05~
