Abstract :
Accurate and simuhaneous naeasurcments of the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of toluene and n-hcptane were made with an improved transient hot-wire method by using a transfer function having a feedback loop. in the temperaturc range of () to 45~C a! atmospheric pressure. Thc accuracy of the empirical equations as a function of tcmperatttre is estimated to bc 0.4 to 0.5 % for the thermal conductivity and about 4 % Ibr the thermal diffusivity.
