The microscopic nonequilibrium process in solids under transient heating

In this paper, the non-I-ourier effects in tl material under heating flux with an aclual pulse and periodic temporal i~rofile ~lre investigated after introducing the physical nlechanisnl of the thermal relaxation model. By using the analytical solution of the non-l:ourier hyperbolic conduction equation, a discussion about the wave characteristics of non-Fourier conduction is given, and the manner in which relaxation time affects the teml~erattLre behavior is discussed. Then a measuring medlod for the relaxation time is suggested for these two kinds of heating tlux.
