Results-driven change: Time to rewire reengineering

Even its advocates admit that three out of four reengineering programs fail. The failures can be quite costly—even devastating—in terms of corporate direction and management well being. A lower risk, higher-payoff strategy—one that is based on an incremental results-driven approach to process improvement—is a much more attractive option.
