Incorporating Network Models into FERCs New Approach to Market Power Analysis

FERC has begun to consider arguments for the use of network models to evaluate market power, but has not yet made these models a more consistent part of market power analysis. This may be the time to do so, as network modeling may be the only way to quantify the convergence of several market influences in a single analysis.
