Abstract
The transmission arrangements in the National Electricity Market reflect the priority placed on decentralized investment decision-making and attempts to improve the competitiveness of the energy market by facilitating the introduction of Market Network Service Providers. However, evidence to date suggests that MNSPs have not happily co-existed with regulated network developers.
