Where Do You Draw the Line? Setting Boundaries Between Gencos, Transcos, and Discos

Setting boundaries between generation, transmission, and/or distribution companies inevitably requires reaching acceptable compromises among a number of technical, commercial, and regulatory considerations. This article proposes such compromises for the boundaries between a Genco and a Transco, a Transco and a Disco, and a Disco and another Disco.
