Fuel Price Changes and the Adoption of Cogeneration in the U.K. and Netherlands

Whenever industrial plants consume power and heat, there is a need to consider energy efficiency investment in a cogeneration plant. The author tests an empirical model employing application of cross-sectional time series to analyze the economic incentives influencing the adoption of energy-saving technology in the U.K. and Dutch manufacturing sectors.
