Endogenous competitive business cycles with positive outside money and positive interest elasticity of savings

An overlapping generations model is studied where young agents supply labour and old agents supply entrepreneurial ability. Endogenous competitive cycles emerge if labour demand is appropriately inelastic, with positive outside money and positive interest elasticity of savings.
