Abstract :
We introduce to the spatial Cournot markets model the inverse demand function of Deneckere [Economics Letters 11 (1983) 37] that allows product differentiation. The circular model’s outcome alters depending on if goods are complements or substitutes, while the linear model results in central agglomeration.
