The entry and exit of workers in Taiwan

This paper analyzes worker turnover in Taiwan. It finds that hiring determines worker entry and quits most strongly contribute to worker exit. The “voluntary separations by quits” explains why the labor market is more dynamic in Taiwan than in advanced countries.
