Testable implications of coalitional rationality

In this note the core of an exchange economy with a finite number of commodities and agents is characterized by a family of polynomial inequalities. By the Tarski-Seidenberg theorem the core is, thus, a theoretical concept that can be formulated in terms of observables only.
