Nickel-cadmium battery recycling evolution in Europe

After a brief introduction on the structure of SNAM (Société Nouvelle dʹAffinage des Métaux), the role of the nickel-cadmium batteries in the consumer electronic market is illustrated. Finally, the procedures and the cost for collecting and recycling nickel-cadmium battery waste are discussed.
