Abstract :
Photogalvanic effect has been studied in photogalvanic cell containing safranine and NTA as photosensitizer and reductant, respectively. The photopotential and photocurrent generated by the system are 415 mV and 35 muA, respectively. The effects of different parameters on electrical output of the cell are observed and a mechanism has been proposed.
