Coping styles, impulsiveness, venturesomeness and empathy

The relationships between Impulsiveness, Venturesomeness and Empathy, and Plutchikʹs coping styles were studied. The following relationships were found: Impulsiveness correlated negatively with Mapping and positively with Suppression (for men), positively with Suppression and Seeking Succorance, and negatively with Substitution (for women). Venturesomeness correlated negatively with Fault-finding (for men) and with Minimization and Substitution (for women). Empathy correlated positively with Minimization, Seeking Succorance and Replacement (for men) and negatively with Minimization, Replacement, Mapping and Reversal (for women).
