A survey of patch test results with tixocortol pivalate in Vancouver

The high frequency of contact allergy to corticosteroids has often been unappreciated. In 1 year, 20 new patients were identified using tixocortol pivalate as a screening agent. The incidence of 2.3% is comparable with European results and is likely to be representative for all of North America.
