Abstract :
Possibility of conservation of individual properties of two and more materials in one crystal of concentrated semiconductor solid solution of compounds (CSSSC), their energy-band structure and existence of alternative to cascade solar cells (SC) and photocells (PC) of the thermophotovoltaics (TPV) is discussed. New converters of heat into electricity - heatelectric cells (HC) are suggested. Scientific and technological significance of reproduction of the existing semiconductor devices on the basis of CSSSC with in-band-cascade (IBC) upward electron transitions is noted.
