Abstract :
Degradation processes in telluride cadmium photoreceivers are studied. It is shown that the blurring of the distribution front of the cadmium atoms owing to diffusion makes the determining contribution to the degradation process since the potential barriers (homo- and heterojunctions) are formed by the cadmium atoms doping. When studying the self-diffusion of labelled Cd 115 in p-CdTe large-block films grown on Si and Mo substrates, it is shown that the Cdi position in the crystal lattice can be localized by the formation of stable neutral complexes of the (Cdi Wcd) and (Cdi Cu cd) type. It is found that the strength and stability of the Cdi atom localization in the crystal lattice depend on the fulfilment of the N(Wʹcd) > N(Cdi) conditions.
