Control Procedure of the Facet Aligning Angles of Large-Sized Concentrators

A method of control over the angular position of the facets on the concentrator by the diaphragmed spot of the facet image is considered. An equation to determine the radius of the diaphragm aperture is obtained. The possibilities of the method is numerically assessed with consideration for the parameters of the facets and the thickness of the diaphragm walls. It is shown that the method allows one not only to control and align facets, but also to assess the curvature radius and the inaccuracy of the facet geometry directly in the operating position of the facet on the concentrator.
