Studies of EMF in TlInSe2 Crystals with the Simultaneous Action of Solar Radiation and Sound Waves

The presence of a novel acoustopliotovoltaic effect is experimentally discovered for the first time. It consists in the appearance of a sound-controlled electromotive force in a direction of the propagation of longitudinal acoustic waves along the [001] axis of the TlInSe2 crystal due to entraining by them of photocarriers arising under the action of solar radiation.
