Comparative European legislation on organ procurement

Nearly all European countries have regulated the questions of organ transplantation within a law; most of them include cadaveric and living organ donation. According to cadaveric organ donation, some laws are based on the principle of informed, some on that of presumed, consent. However, even these laws have lots of differences in detail. Living organ donation is in some countries significantly restricted.
