Abstract :
We describe the use of gabapentin for the treatment of itching in wound healing in 35 children. All children were already treated with chlorpheniramine and trimeprazine but they remained irritable and were constantly rubbing their wounds. Within 24 h of commencing treatment itching had improved significantly in all of the children.
